- Trim the wick before each burn to prevent black soot and allow a clean burn
- Allow ample time for wax to melt to edges of vessel to prevent tunneling
- Burn for only 3-4 hours at a time
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Discontinue burning the candle when 1/4 inch of wax is all that remains in the jar.

The hot cross bun candle was everything I dreamed of. Obviously I was burning over Easter and it legitimately smelled like Easter was in the air. Loved the jar and will reuse. Also happy with the size of the candle.
